Powers to Managing Committee and Boards- MH Ordinance Dtd.02.11.2020 further amending Maharashtra Coop Societies Act 1960 - Sec.65 and Sec.75-

 With this ordinance the MH Govt has come out with another sensational Amendment to the MH Coop Societies Act 1960 thereby extending the general body powers to Managing Committee or boards for crucial matters like 

👉Disposal of Surplus in Fy 2020-21,

👉 Approval of Budget for next Financial year and 

 👉Appointment of Auditor for fy 2020-21

 ✔️subject to ratification in Annual General Meeting .

MCS ACT 1960 ORDINANCE DTD 28/10/2020 FOR EXTENSION OF AUDIT AND AGM DATE

 MCS, ACT, 1960 - ORDINANCES DATED 28.10.2020 - FOR YEAR 2019-2020 - AUDIT COMPLIANCE DATE 31.12.2020 & AGM CONDUCTING DATE 31.03.2021 - AMENDMENT TO SECTION 27, 75 & 81.

Summary of the Ordinance is as below:

a) for the financial year 2019-2020, the society may get its books of accounts audited within nine months from the close of its financial year and call the annual General body meeting within twelve months from the close of its financial year.”;

b) in the existing proviso, for the words “Provided that,” the words “Provided further that,” shall be substituted.

c) for the financial year 2019-2020, the society shall cause its audit to be 

completed within a period of nine months from the close of the financial year 2019-2020.

Accordingly, the coop societies in MH shall  get it's accounts audited for fy 2019-20 on or before 31st Dec.2020 as against 31st July 2020 .

The AGM for fy 2019-20 shall  be conducted on or before 31st March 2021 as against 30.09.2020.

The existing committee is deemed to have continued till the regular elections of new committee where Elections to the societies could not be conducted for the reasons beyond the control of the societies .

Extention on MH Coop Audit Panel from 30/09/2020 to 31/03/2021

The Maharashtra Govt. Notification Dtd. 22/09/2020 for extending the Co-Op. Auditor Panel from 31/10/2020 to 31/03/2021.

CIRCULAR NOTIFIED FOR COOPERATIVE SOCIETY - ONLINE TRAINING INSTITUTES

Due to covid 2019 pendamic, to stop / prevent its spread  nationwide lock down is declared on 24/3/20 .

And due to this school, colleges and training centres are shut accross the country.

Solution to this is online education has been started.

As per MCS act 1960 section 24 A it is now mandatory for M C members to get cooperative education / training

To impart education to M C members training institutions were working but now due to nationwide lock down it is not possible .

Hence now it is being informed to all such recognised institutions in existing situation  that they should opt new system of online education / training to M C members.

All such types of institutions should prepare themselves for digital education and accordingly inform all societies / M C members & further proceed / complete  this education programme digitally.
